Our commitment to SDGs
At Yamek, we seek to harness our expertise in supply and logistics to provide humanitarian services around the world and create a sustainable impact to support the communities in which we operate, whether directly or indirectly. We also seek to empower local communities through ethical cooperation with local partners with the aim of economically empowering local businesses and human capital. Our projects also contribute to achieving the following global sustainable development goals:
(SDG 1: No Poverty)
We seek to ensure accessibility to resources for beneficiaries in the local communities by providing reliable supply chains for essential goods in poor and affected areas, to ensure the beneficiaries access to food, clothing, medical supplies, and basic resources. We also seek to create a positive economic impact by creating job opportunities in the project-targeted countries by employing local employees in logistics, warehousing, distribution, etc.
(SDG 2: Zero Hunger)
YAMAK contributes to creating efficient food supply chains through facilitating the implementation of the projects of our partners from NGOs, governments and philanthropists, to distribute food aid quickly and effectively, especially in crisis areas, which helps reduce the impact of food insecurity in these areas. We also seek at YAMAK to contribute to reducing food waste by designing and implementing improved transportation and storage solutions, especially in remote areas to maintain the quality of food items and prevent them from spoilage due to the weak infrastructure in the targeted areas.
(SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being)
Our health projects contribute to supporting the healthcare efforts and initiatives targeted by our partners in the conflict and crises affected areas. YAMAK provides the required medical supplies and ensure their delivery. We also cooperate with specialized organizations to provide emergency medical response logistics such as mobile clinics in the most affected areas.
(SDG 4: Quality Education)
YAMAK provides educational supplies projects to deliver educational materials (such as books, stationery, and school supplies) to schools and students in the targeted areas and ensure the access to quality education and the continuity of education in the targeted areas despite the economic and security conditions.
(SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation)
At YAMAK, we support our partners' projects to deliver water and sanitation equipment, including mobile water stations, sanitation kits, and water purification systems to poor and disaster and conflict-affected areas to ensure access to clean water. We also supply essential hygiene items and kits to prevent the spread of diseases associated with poor sanitation.
(SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy)
At YAMAK, we provide renewable energy logistics solutions by facilitating the supply and installation of solar panels and solar-powered products to communities suffering from electricity shortages. We also seek to provide sustainable transportation solutions that are fuel-efficient and contribute to reducing harmful emissions.
(SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth)
At YAMAK, we aim to empower local communities and create job opportunities for individuals in the countries where we implement our projects, which also contributes to the development of local skills. We also strengthen the local supply chains by establishing reliable relationships with local suppliers, farmers, artisans and SMEs, which contributes to supporting local economies and encouraging sustainable growth.
(SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure)
We seek to contribute to the development of a well-equipped logistics infrastructure in the countries targeted by our projects through our warehouses and distribution centers. We also seek to activate innovation and the use logistics technology to create more efficient and transparent supply chains, which enhances the flexibility and effectiveness of supply chains.

At YAMAK, we are distinguished by our flexibility and high readiness to contribute to providing the logistics for rapid emergency responses when needed during natural disasters or humanitarian crises, and delivering them to poor or affected areas and neighborhoods in coordination with local administrations.

Our work at YAMAK is mainly based on cooperation and coordination with international organizations and other partners in order to supply the required relief and humanitarian materials and provide related logistical services, in addition to sharing knowledge and information that facilitates the work of partners to create comprehensive logistical solutions for complex issues (such as food security, health and education) through teamwork.
